My journey started with my education at the Fashion Institute NYC, Design And Apparel Management where I developed my passion for creativity in fashion.

In 1985, I opened a manufacturing design company in New York. I started doing private label knitwear for companies like Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys NY and Saks. For about 10 years, I also had the opportunity to style one on one for Carlisle. Styling for Carlisle led to individual styling of customers for events, vacations, and every day attire, to styling for bigger events and attending meetings with top executives and CEOs in many countries around the world .

A few years later, in 1988, I moved to California and continued manufacturing specialty knitwear, then transitioned into consulting and designing. I was working as a product developer in mixed media with my company Mixie Chicks, when I came across Mainstream Boutique in Waco,Texas on a work trip in 2017. I was inspired and electrified by the brand and decided that I wanted to continue my fashion creativity and opened Mainstream Boutique in Morgan Hill in 2019.

Undoubtedly, fashion has been such an empowering and inspiriting experience with Mainstream Boutique as we have been able to connect and continue building with a community of women in Morgan Hill and surrounding areas. Our Annual Fashion Show has grown from 70 women, to now 300+ women at these shows. Our mission at Mainstream Boutique in Morgan Hill is through styling, connecting and empowering women all around the world, to feel their own beauty and confidence through fashion.
